Introduction

What are you going to do 

Your impact, responsibilities and tasks:

  • You will support Digital Mock-Up (DMU) checks for electrical vehicles, proactively identifying potential part collisions and production challenges, and develop solutions in collaboration with the engineering team in the Netherlands.
  • You will participate in the Temporary Rework Instruction and Engineering Change Request processes, creating the necessary CAD models and drawings to facilitate production.
  • You will actively engage in discussions with the local team and the engineers in the Netherlands to address and solve existing technical problems.
  • You will modify CAD models and drawings when European parts are substituted with local parts, ensuring clear communication with the engineering team.
  • You will ensure your CAD data is stored properly, following the client's existing procedures and standards.
  • You will support production with technical issues and questions related to mechanical systems.
  • You will investigate and resolve mechanical issues, working closely with both production teams and engineers to implement practical solutions.

The client could ask you to have a training in The Netherlands for a period of 2-3 weeks.

Essential skills and knowledge 

The ideal candidate:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in mechanical or automotive engineering, with expertise in production drawing creation and technologies.
  • Proficiency in 3D CAD, preferably NX 2212 version.
  • Practical knowledge of mechanical systems, production assembly, and cost-efficient design.
  • Experience with technical calculations and familiarity with company procedures and rules.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in a production environment.
  • Eagerness to work hands-on in mounting prototype parts and systems in production electrical vehicles.
  • A must is to communicate effectively in English (B2 level or higher) and fluent in Chinese language.
  • Available on short notice and you live near Zhuhai.
