What are you going to do

Our client is a dynamic high-tech organization where cutting-edge technology meets a genuine commitment to people. They specialize in providing OEM clients with end-to-end solutions, from conceptualization and design to industrialization, production, assembly, and testing of high-tech products, modules, tools, and equipment. They also invest in professional development by training high-tech talent for both internal teams and their client network.
To expand their R&D capabilities, our client is looking for a talented Mechanical Designer (mid to senior level) who can bring expertise and creativity to their team.

Essential skills and knowledge

As a Mechanical Designer, you’ll handle challenging and innovative design projects within a high-tech environment. You will be responsible for turning complex concepts into detailed 3D designs, drawing packages, and bills of materials, working in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary project team. This role also involves validating designs through calculations and numerical simulations, and conducting sensitivity analyses. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently yet collaboratively, bringing creativity, curiosity, and technical expertise to the table.
You have:

A hbo degree in Mechanical Engineering, along with relevant industry experience and technical training.
Familiarity with precision mechanics, high-vacuum environments, and digital design systems such as Creo or Siemens NX.
Strong communicator, detail-oriented, and highly results-focused.
Fluent in both Dutch and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
You're living in the Netherlands.
