What are you going to do 

Are you a skilled technical coordinator with a passion for emission and performance impact? Our client, a leading player in global engine innovation, is looking for an experienced Emission Coordinator to manage the complex requirements of engine and aftertreatment changes within a collaborative, high-stakes environment.
In this role, you’ll act as the technical liaison, coordinating key discussions and decisions on the impact of engine and aftertreatment modifications (hardware, software, and calibration) related to emissions, diagnostics, documentation, and performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across the client’s engine development sites and ensure regulatory, production, and performance goals are met.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and guide discussions and decisions around emissions and engine diagnostics.
  • Prepare content summaries and collaborate with stakeholders to finalize production content.
  • Gather and analyze data to inform release schedules and ensure timely approvals.
  • Maintain an up-to-date release timeline for the entire engine and aftertreatment portfolio.

This role requires close collaboration with Global Engine Development teams, spanning from North America to Eindhoven, alongside various departments such as Embedded Engineering, Production Engineering, and Compliance.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in project engineering, with a focus on emissions and diagnostics.
  • Strong knowledge of engine mechanics, aftertreatment, and onboard diagnostics.
  • Proven ability to work in interdisciplinary teams.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
