Introduction

  • Manage and overseas the materials receiving, preservation and handover for Onshore Recommended Spare Parts (Capital Spares, Special tools, 2 Years spares, Lubricants, Chemicals and surplus materials from Construction and Commissioning) in conjunction with the Contractors Materials and Preservation Teams.
  • Work hand in hand with Contractor to ensure material receiving is completed and material delivered to the laydown area and preservation requirments are implemented in line with Supplier storage requirements up to hand over to Warehouse.
  • Ensure appropriate and efficient communication channel between stakeholders.
  • Monitor and assist Contractor hand over of the Capital Spares and Special tools. (Documentations, physical inspection and Preservation records at Site).
  • Carry out a visual inspection at Contractor’s Warehouse and ensure that all items are correctly marked/labeled with a stock number prior to handover to the Warehouse.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse for Historical Purchase Order (HPO) creation.
  • Ensure that all spare parts and special tools being handed over to the Warehouse are correctly marked with SAP Material numbers
  • Monitor and assist Contractor's resolution of all discrepancies such Material with quarantine/shortage/damaged and ensure that Contractor have taken the necessary action to replace them.
  • Ensure that all documents related to delivery of spares/consignment shall be provided in proper correlation against each SAP code, including CoC/MTC/SAT/FAT Certificates, etc., where applicable.
  • Ensure handover dossiers reviews are done on time and as per project schedule
  • Large, “one of a kind”, complex LNG Project.
  • Large construction and Material Management scope.
  • Be inventive on handover tools and execution, bring experience from other large and complex projects, in particular LNG Plants.

What are you going to do 

  • Champions on-site safety awareness and safe performance with contractor and among Project Team.
  • Establish summary reports to reflect the spare parts and tools Handover.
  • Lead completeness of Spare parts handover dossier from contractor to in accordance with contractual handover Procedures.
  • Reports to the Business Division Manager and the Head of Procurement the Spare Parts material management and handover weekly and daily activities and work progress.
  • Participate and provide inputs, resolutions on Material Management coordination meetings

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent and/or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in projects Material Management or equivalent with strong skills in:
  • Specifications, codes, and standards
  • Handover procedures.
  • Computing science and Databases (Excel, Access).
  • Experience working in multicultural environments.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with several organizational levels.
