Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in renewable construction projects, heavy lift operations, and contractor management to join their team on site on a 12 month contract. This is a FIFO position.

What are you going to do

Lead planning and execution of assigned mechanical work packages on site
Manage contract deliverables, reviewing contractor mechanical project documents and management plans
Respond to technical queries promptly and provide practical mechanical solutions.
Investigate and resolve mechanical engineering issues, recommending best practice solutions.

Essential skills and knowledge

Previous experience in mechanical engineering/project delivery in site based roles
Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering
Prior experience in heavy lifting/erection and installation
Previous construction experience within the renewables sector highly regarded
Minimum full working rights is required for this position
