Introduction

  • The Senior Contracts Manager is a key role within our organization, responsible for overseeing and managing all contract-related activities.
  • This position requires a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in contracts management, particularly within the Middle East region.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, excellent organizational abilities, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

What are you going to do 

  • The Senior Contracts Manager will be responsible for managing and administering contracts for the Project.
  • This includes writing and responding to claims, managing correspondence, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • The role involves leading a team of four contracts team members in Qatar and working closely with project managers and directors to mitigate claims and ensure timely action on all contract-related issues.
  • The Senior Contracts Manager will also support Invitations to Tender (ITT) and handle various claims arising from project execution, such as freight issues, weather delays, and global supply chain disruptions.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in contracts management, with a focus on the Middle East region.
  • Previous experience in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) claims management on Qatar projects is preferred.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in managing claims and mitigating risks in the field.
  • Strong understanding of EPC contracts and procedures.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Highly motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Takes initiative and demonstrates strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
