Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Data Architect to design, implement, and manage our organization's Salesforce data management systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a scalable, secure, and efficient data architecture that meets the needs of our business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data models, data governance policies, and data quality processes to ensure data integrity and consistency across the organization
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive data architecture strategy that aligns with business objectives and ensures data availability, security, and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements, and develop solutions to meet those needs
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes to support business intelligence, analytics, and reporting
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, HIPAA, and CCPA
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, best practices, and industry trends

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • 7+ years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on Salesforce
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data models, data governance, and data quality processes
  • Experience with Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Service Cloud
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
  • Experience with data governance, data quality, and data security
  • Experience with .NET and SSIS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop creative solutions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems such as Git

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • Experience with data science and machine learning technologies such as Python, R, or TensorFlow
  • Certification in Salesforce Data Architecture or related field
