Brunel is recruiting a Quality Lead to work with our major oil and gas client in Midland, TX for initially 1 year contract.

Scope:

The selected candidate will be responsible for field-based quality oversight with primary ownership of preservation activities. This role supports unconventional energy projects and ensures preservation standards are maintained throughout project execution.

Focus areas include:

* Quality leadership with a strong focus on preservation activities

* Unconventional energy project experience preferred

* Field-based quality oversight and preservation ownership

* Preservation of mechanical and electrical equipment

* Compressor preservation experience is critical

* Pipeline construction or operations exposure is essential

Essential skills and knowledge

Responsibilities:

* Provide leadership and technical expertise to ensure project quality systems are effectively implemented and maintained across engineering, procurement, and site execution phases.

* Driving the implementation of engineering, procurement, and site quality systems

* Providing quality assurance and quality control expertise to ensure services, equipment, and materials meet contract, purchase order, specification, and statutory requirements

* Evaluating and monitoring contractor quality management systems and driving improvements to close performance gaps

* Overseeing the development and execution of project-specific Surveillance Plans and Procedures

* Monitoring quality metrics to identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues

* Providing direction and oversight to discipline inspectors and supporting the project team on quality-related matters

* Promoting quality awareness throughout all phases of the project
