We have a current opportunity for a Operations Assistant on a contract basis. The position will be based in Kalgoorlie For further information about this position please apply.

What are you going to do 

Based in the heart of Kalgoorlie, you will be helping the Team Leaders plan, schedule and dispatch field work, as well as providing administration support services. Make a difference in your local community, feel good about the work you do.

This role is ideal for some with considerable experience in providing business and customer service support

The role will involve:

  • Helping customers and operational enquiries to ensure the delivery of services.
  • Support depot staff with fleet management administration.

  • Processing employee information, timesheets, allowances and work docket information for the purposes of payroll and cost allocation.

  • Providing advice and information on payroll and related matters, interpretation and application of conditions of employment and adjustment of increments and allowances.

  • Assisting the Senior Operations Assistant with receiving & issuing store items.

  • Assisting Operations with Concur Credit card reconciliations and Travel Request.

  • Raise purchase orders and approve invoices

  • Create work orders in SAP or Grange

Essential skills and knowledge 

Requirements

  • Current W.A 'C' Class Drivers Licence.
  • Current Forklift Licence or willingness to attain.
  • Considerable experience in providing business and customer service support.
  • Considerable experience in a broad range of administration.
  • Considerable experience in payroll administration
  • Advanced computing skills and the use of programs such as Microsoft and SAP.
