Position: Blaster, Long Hole Location: Northern Saskatchewan Introduction Brunel is currently recruiting for an experienced Blaster - Long Hole to support underground operations at a well-established gold mining site in northern Saskatchewan. This is a fly-in/fly-out position on a 2 week on / 2 week off rotation, with charter flights provided from Saskatoon, Prince Albert, and La Ronge. This role is ideal for individuals with a solid background in underground hard rock mining and long hole blasting. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting production drilling and blasting activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and operational standards. This opportunity offers the chance to join a high-performing team within a dynamic and growth-oriented mining environment. A positive safety mindset, ability to work independently, and proven experience in similar underground roles are essential. Responsibilities Create and maintain a strong safety culture. Perform Field Level Risk Assessments. Complete proper pre-op inspection on all equipment. Properly place barricades delineating blast site.
