Introduction

Brunel International is currently seeking a Maintenance Coordinator - Fixed Plant to join our PNG team. As the Maintenance Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the maintenance activities of the fixed plant equipment to ensure the efficient and effective running of the plant.

What are you going to do

In this role, you will be responsible for:

Coordinating and supervising the maintenance activities of the fixed plant equipment
Ensuring the plant is operating in a safe, efficient, and reliable manner
Developing and implementing maintenance strategies and plans
Scheduling and conducting preventive maintenance activities
Managing and supervising the maintenance team
Liaising with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the plant
Identifying and resolving maintenance issues in a timely manner
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures

Essential skills and knowledge

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of fixed plant equipment maintenance
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures
