ICN8 is an organization of 750 employees and home to Europe’s largest 8-inch cleanroom, primarily producing products for the automotive industry. The Maintenance Support & Gas and Chemical Systems section is part of the ICN8 wafer fabrication organization, responsible for all gas and chemical installations that supply the production tools, as well as the gas detection systems essential to operations.
The role involves daily alignment with subcontractors to coordinate maintenance activities, set priorities, manage planning, and follow up on action items. A focus on continuous improvement is essential, as you’ll analyze tool data and develop improvement plans to enhance performance on key KPIs: Safety, Quality, Availability, and Costs. You will also prepare, manage, and execute projects aimed at improving the reliability and availability of the Gas and Chemical systems.
Key responsibilities include defining requirements for modifications to Gas and Chemical systems, as well as overseeing testing and acceptance of modified systems. Maintaining up-to-date documentation and procedures is critical, as is training and coaching maintenance technicians. Additionally, you’ll support maintenance teams with complex issues, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
