We believe in doing our part for the environment and that taking small actions can lead to fundamental change for the planet. All the changes we make together on a daily basis will impact the environment on a global scale.

Two of our key initiatives — Trash ‘n Trace and the Brunel Foundation Forest — show how these values come to life.
Trash ’n Trace
Aligned with the Foundation’s mission to create a healthier planet, Brunel colleagues around the world have embraced Trash ’n Trace clean-ups with great enthusiasm. The initiative first started in 2020 during the COVID period, when many people were spending more time outdoors and decided to turn their walks into meaningful litter picking moments. What began as a simple way to stay active and positive quickly grew into more.
Since then, colleagues have continued to take action — sometimes by teaming up for larger clean-up events, other times by filling a bag of litter during a quick lunch break walk or while working remotely. From the areas around Brunel offices to riversides, beaches, on water and even vibrant schoolyards, communities everywhere feel the positive impact of their dedication.
And the impact goes far beyond a single day. Each clean-up sparks awareness, inspires sustainable behavior, and encourages partners, families, and communities to get involved. Every piece of litter collected shows that small, everyday actions can create big change.
