What are you going to do

The Telecom Commissioning Specialist will commission the plant's critical communications infrastructure, including industrial LAN/WAN systems, public address, CCTV, radio systems, fiber optics, and emergency communication networks. Ensuring reliable and secure communication for safety and operational efficiency is central to this role.

Commission telecom systems including PAGA, IP telephony, CCTV, VHF/UHF radios, and network infrastructure.
Perform functional testing, configuration, and documentation of all telecom systems in line with design.
Interface with electrical and automation teams for system integration and validation.
Ensure telecom systems comply with cybersecurity and operational standards.
Support punch list clearance and readiness for system handover.

Essential skills and knowledge

Degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or IT Systems.
10-15 years of commissioning experience, preferably including upstream and downstream project exposure.
Strong background in international projects is highly desirable.
Expertise in fiber optic networks, structured cabling, and IP-based communication systems.
Awareness of industrial cybersecurity and network segmentation.
Fluent in English; Swedish is an advantage.
