Introduction

On behalf of our client, a major O&G operator, we are currently recruiting for an Environmental Approvals Advisor to support CCS project approvals and regulatory compliance. This is a 12 month contract opportunitiy based in their Perth office.

About this role

  • Coordinate and prepare environmental approvals and impact assessment documents for CCS projects.
  • Liaise with regulators, consultants, and project teams to ensure timely submissions.
  • Review technical documentation for compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Manage third-party consultants delivering environmental approvals.
  • Support risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and environmental planning activities

Is this you?

  • Extensive experience in environmental approvals within the petroleum or renewables sector
  • Strong knowledge of EPBC, NT, and OPGGS (Environment) Regulations.
  • Proven ability to prepare and review environmental impact assessment documents
  • Excellent technical writing, stakeholder engagement, and coordination skills.
  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
