Introduction
On behalf of our client, a major O&G operator, we are currently recruiting for an Environmental Approvals Advisor to support CCS project approvals and regulatory compliance. This is a 12 month contract opportunitiy based in their Perth office.
About this role
- Coordinate and prepare environmental approvals and impact assessment documents for CCS projects.
- Liaise with regulators, consultants, and project teams to ensure timely submissions.
- Review technical documentation for compliance with environmental regulations.
- Manage third-party consultants delivering environmental approvals.
- Support risk assessment, compliance monitoring, and environmental planning activities
Is this you?
- Extensive experience in environmental approvals within the petroleum or renewables sector
- Strong knowledge of EPBC, NT, and OPGGS (Environment) Regulations.
- Proven ability to prepare and review environmental impact assessment documents
- Excellent technical writing, stakeholder engagement, and coordination skills.
- Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
