About this role

operate and maintain LFG power station plant and equipment in a reliable and cost-efficient manner to maximise operating availability. Ensuring the highest standards of safety and environmental performance are adhered to.

  • Have a strong attitude towards safety and safety management systems.
  • Carry out Maintenance on Gas fired Caterpillar Engine generators and associated control systems.
  • Maintain and operate Oracle Maintenance Management System.
  • Ensure compliance with WHS, Work Cover, DEMIRS and all legislation and regulations are abided by.
  • Be responsible and show pro-active towards breakdowns and essential maintenance.
  • Show initiative and a willingness to undertake ongoing training both internal and external to the Company.
  • Shared call out roster
  • Manage Warehouse Stock and Inventory levels.
  • Abilty to trouble shoot and show basic fault finding skills

Is this you?

  • Mandatory- WA "A" Grade Electrical License ("Electrical Mechanical")
  • Mandatory- Current WA drivers' licence ("C" class).
  • Mandatory- First Aid certificate / LV Rescue
  • Ability to carry out low level Gas Engine and Alternator Servicing, testing, maintenance and fault finding.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, AVRs, Governors, Protection Relays and UPS Systems
  • Knowledge of Safety Systems JSEAs, Permit to Work
  • Knowledge of Oracle Maintenance Management System an advantage.
  • Experience with Landfill Gas Power Stations will be highly regarded.
  • Police Clearance

Highly desirable but not a mandatory requirment

  • Forklift High risk license.
  • HV Switching qualification.
  • (Instrumentation) qualifications.
  • Power station, experience.
  • Working at Heights, Confined Space
