About this role

Our client is a global leader in the Life Science industy and are looking for someone to suppourt their 3PL providers, manage critical logistics functions, and deliver exceptional service to internal and external partners.

  • 3PL Partnership Management: Support daily operational relationships with Life Science 3PL providers in Australia and New Zealand, addressing urgent orders, daily ops issues, and customer complaints.
  • ERP Transactions: Perform ERP transactions to facilitate outbound distribution functions, ensuring smooth 3PL operations.
  • Query Resolution: Handle inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding warehousing, transport, stock discrepancies, damaged stock, and order issues.
  • Operational Support: Liaise with 3PLs and transport partners to manage critical orders, arrange returns, resolve freight issues (e.g., delays, lost/damaged freight), and provide documentation (CoA's, SDS, export documents, invoices).
  • Performance Monitoring: Run open delivery reports, review sales order progress, and ensure timely shipments. Monitor and report on 3PL KPIs, driving improvement actions through regular meetings.
  • Team Collaboration: Provide backup for logistics team tasks, cross-training in inbound, outbound, and inventory accuracy processes. Work closely with Supply Chain, Major Accounts, and Customer Excellence teams to prioritize customer orders and meet special requirements.
  • Customer Focus: Assist Commercial and Service teams with transportation inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution.

Is this you?

  • Qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, or associated field highly desirable
  • A proactive problem-solver with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experienced in logistics, supply chain, or 3PL operations, with familiarity in ERP systems and KPI reporting.
  • Adept at building relationships with internal teams, 3PL providers, and transport partners.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail.
