Reporting directly to the Electrical Manager you will assist in managing our team of qualified electricians and apprentices. From new construction builds, maintenance, and continued expansion of their current facilities, no two days will be the same.
Install, commission, maintain, and repair electrical control systems and industrial electrical equipment
Carry out testing, fault finding, diagnosis, and rectification of electrical faults
Complete commercial and industrial electrical installations, upgrades, and project work across all Cefn sites
Perform both planned and reactive maintenance across all aspects of the electrical trade
Assemble and install electrical and electronic components and equipment
Read and interpret electrical, control, and instrumentation schematics and drawings
Support the Electrical Manager by assisting with daily work coordination, mentoring team members, and promoting safe and efficient site operations
Participate in a rotating on-call roster (one weekend every four weeks)
Your skills
Queensland Electrical Work Licence (Electrical Fitter Mechanic)
Minimum of 4 years trade experience
Experience in industrial / commercial environments highly regarded
Driver's Licence Class C
Construction Induction Card (White Card)
Understanding of control equipment and generators
Effective communication skills (written & verbal)
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams
Good general knowledge of Australian electrical standards and regulations
Current LVR/CPR
