Introduction

On behalf of our client, a World Leading Energy Company, Brunel is presently recruiting a Wellsite Representative to be based onshore reporting to the Well Superintendent. This will be a FIFO from Perth, 14:14 roster for a 12 month contract to commence as soon as possible.

What are you going to do

  • You will be required to supervise and manage the workover rigs and intervention units (slickline/E-line/pumping)
  • Some work will be undertaken in the office ahead of planned campaign work scopes to support the Office Engineers plan the operation, equipment and logistics
  • Participation in HAZIDs, ENVIDs and pre-job safety planning , then executing the job in the field as per the HSE plans
  • Flexibility with schedule and rostering is important as the operation and team continue to evolve, and WSRs are rotated to manage different operations periodically throughout the year
  • HSE, Regulatory and WellSafe Compliance
  • HSE Incident Reporting
  • Execute Well Procedures
  • Reporting of Well Operations

Mandatory required training prior to commencement of employment:

  • Current Well Control (taken within the last 6 months)- either IWCF Level 4 Surface or Subsea OR IADC Supervisors Surface or Subsea
  • Wellsite PTW for OCR
  • Wellsite PTW for Permit Authority


Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Preferred experience in land operations
  • Experience in land workover rigs and land based intervention units (slickline, E-Line, coil)
  • Well workover experience with sucker rod pumps, PCP, water injector wells
  • Well integrity diagnostics and analysis
  • Well plug and abandonment methodology
  • Remediation of gas behind casing isolation of sustained casing pressure
  • Intervention and plug & abandonment of land wells - preferred
  • Knowledge of conventional and new surface wellhead / XT systems
  • Experience in WellView software platform, JD Edwards
  • Execute (or similar scheduling software)
