Introduction

Implementation of robust Process Safety Management (PSM) systems and maintaining safe operations throughout the project lifecycle.

Lead and facilitate key safety assessments, including HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, QRA, and SIL, while providing expert input across design, construction, commissioning, and operational phases.

What are you going to do

Develop, implement, and monitor Process Safety Management (PSM) programs in line with company and regulatory standards.
Perform HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, QRA, SIL assessments and facilitate risk studies.
Provide process safety input during design, construction, commissioning, and operations phases.
Review engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with process safety requirements.
Collaborate closely with project, operations, and HSE teams to ensure safety risks are effectively managed.
Support audits, incident investigations, and lessons learned implementation.

Essential skills and knowledge

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 7-10 years of experience in process safety engineering, preferably in LNG or Oil & Gas mega projects.
Strong knowledge of international safety standards and risk assessment methodologies.
Experience working on site-based projects in remote or complex environments.
Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
Indonesian nationals preferred due to work location.
