Introduction

At Brunel Papua New Guinea, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Admin Coordinator/ Shutdown Lead to join our team on a FIFO (Fly-In-Fly-Out) basis for a project in Papua New Guinea (PNG). If you are a motivated individual with experience in shutdown coordinating/ management and a passion for leading teams in challenging environments, we want to hear from you.

What are you going to do 

As the Coordinator/ Shutdown Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of shutdown activities, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. You will lead a team of Mechanical and Electrical personnel to coordinate and execute shutdown plans, manage resources efficiently, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure project success. Your strong leadership skills and technical expertise will be crucial in driving operational excellence and maintaining high safety standards throughout the shutdown process.

Essential skills and knowledge 

List of Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Coordinator/ Shutdown Lead or similar role in the resource industry
  • Strong knowledge of shutdown management principles and best practices
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Willingness to work on a FIFO roster in Papua New Guinea
  • Relevant qualifications in engineering/ project management or a related field
