A leading Western Australian gold producer is seeking an experienced Remuneration & Benefits Advisor to join their People & Culture team on an ongoing contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a specialist reward role within a dynamic mining environment, supporting both corporate and site-based workforces.

What are you going to do

Reporting to the HR Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the organisation's remuneration frameworks and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness, compliance and alignment with business strategy.

You will work closely with operational leaders across site and corporate functions, providing data-driven insights and practical reward solutions within a complex industrial relations landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Remuneration

  • Conduct salary benchmarking and market analysis within the mining and resources sector
  • Support annual salary review processes and remuneration modelling
  • Assist with job evaluation and grading activities
  • Provide analysis and recommendations on incentive and bonus structures
  • Support enterprise agreement interpretation as it relates to pay and allowances

Benefits

  • Oversee employee benefits programs including superannuation and insurance
  • Manage site-based allowances and roster-related entitlements
  • Provide reporting and insights on benefits utilisation and cost

Governance & Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with relevant awards, enterprise agreements and employment legislation
  • Maintain remuneration policies and documentation
  • Deliver workforce analytics and remuneration reporting to senior leadership

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Proven experience in remuneration, reward, or senior HR advisory roles
  • Background within mining, resources, heavy industry or similarly complex environments
  • Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills
  • Experience working with enterprise agreements and unionised workforces
  • Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation
  • Confident stakeholder engagement skills across operational and executive levels
  • YOu must have current right to work in Australia to be considered for this role
