Introduction

We are looking for a Project Controls Lead to work with one of our major clients on a contract located in Houston, TX.

What are you going to do 

  • Oversee performance management for assigned projects, providing cost/schedule forecasts and value of work done (VOWD) analysis.
  • Review and integrate Operator reports for non-operated projects, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of project controls (PC) deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Operator counterparts to influence deliverable quality, timing, and assumptions for internal reporting.
  • Assess Operator deliverables to align project controls with governance, assurance, and forecasting processes.
  • Develop conceptual cost estimates in coordination with stakeholders and the Project Controls team.
  • Support senior leaders, project leads, and finance teams in annual corporate planning for budgets and resourcing.
  • Lead or participate in Schedule & Cost Risk Analysis (SCRA) for projects.
  • Engage in industry events to apply best practices and continuous improvements.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business (Finance or Accounting), Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills across multiple functions.
  • Self-motivated with a track record of accuracy, reliability, and meeting deadlines.
  • Commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Project Controls tools and software (Unifier, Ecosys, P6, PRA, Milestone Professional, Acumen Fuse, Safran).
  • Expertise in Cost Engineering principles and practices.
