What are you going to do

  • Operate and monitor fixed plant equipment across smelter operations

  • Maintain safe, efficient production processes

  • Conduct routine inspections and basic fault finding

  • Follow standard operating procedures and site safety requirements

  • Work collaboratively within structured crew teams

  • Complete accurate reporting and shift handovers

Essential skills and knowledge 

Essential:

  • Experience in heavy industry (mining, smelting, manufacturing, or similar)

  • Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures

  • Willingness to work rotating rosters including night shifts

  • Physically fit and able to work in hot, demanding conditions

  • Strong team orientation and communication skills

    Highly regarded tickets / experience:

    • High Risk Work Licence (Forklift, EWP, etc.)

    • Confined Space / Working at Heights

    • Front End Loader or mobile plant experience
