Introduction

We’re hiring Offshore Structural Engineer for one of our Leading MNC in Oil & Gas to join their growing team. This position is based out in Chennai.

What are you going to do

Position: Offshore Structural Engineer;

YOE: 8 - 25 Years;

Contract: On Permanent Role.

Essential skills and knowledge

Graduate in Civil Engg / Structural Engg desired, Post Graduate in Structural Engg / Offshore Structure is preferable. Candidates conversant with SACS software for analysis / design of offshore structures. Hands on experience in performing In place / Inservice and Preservice analysis of Fixed platform Jacket & topsides / FPSO / Floater Topside Modules. Also Experience in Spectral Fatigue / Seismic, On bottom stability, Pile handling, Floatation & Upending for Jackets / platforms will be an added advantage. Experience in using SESAM / STAAD Pro / SAP2000 & FEM software’s – ANSYS / ABACUS would be an advantage. Responsible to provide inputs to structural modelers / drafting team, check 3D Model & Drawings for Engg aspects using NAVIS works / equivalent 3D Model viewers, prepare MTO / BOQ / BOM, Inputs for Weight Control report, verify other Disc data for Weight Control report. Familiar with Structural Material Grades / fabrication aspects / detailing aspects;

Well Head Platforms, Process Platforms FPSO topside Modules , Offshore Fixed platforms , Jacket design , Top sides design;

Pre service analysis, In service analysis, Seismic analysis, Fatigue Analysis , Push Over analysis , Jacket launch Analysis. SACS Software, ANSYS software, Genie Software.
