Introduction

Brunel International is seeking a qualified and experienced Marine Master (Master Class 2 or Unlimited) to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to operate a range of sea vessels. If you have a passion for the maritime industry and enjoy a varied role both at sea and onshore, we want to hear from you.

What are you going to do

As a Marine Master with Brunel International, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of our client's sea vessels. Your role will involve navigating and managing the vessel during projects at sea, as well as undertaking essential maintenance and management duties while the vessels are docked.

You will work closely with our operations and maintenance teams, assisting wherever required within the business to ensure smooth and effective vessel operations. The position is based in Townsville QLD, with a Monday to Friday work week when not at sea. Time at sea does not follow a set roster pattern due to the variable nature of our projects, which are generally not ongoing.

Requirements

  • Hold a valid Marine Master Class 2 or Unlimited Certificate of Competency.
  • Proven experience operating sea vessels.
  • Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance, management, and maritime safety regulations.
