Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Construction Lead to join our Project Management Department for the LOTS (LNG Offshore Terminal System) project at a leading LNG company.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and overseeing marine construction activities, with a focus on ensuring the successful delivery of offshore terminal systems.
This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet project specifications and safety requirements.

What are you going to do

Lead and manage the marine construction activities for the LOTS project, ensuring alignment with project objectives and company policies.
Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and budgets for marine construction activities.
Monitor and report on the progress of marine construction activities, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of marine construction activities with overall project plans.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for marine construction-related risks.
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies and promote safe practices through field-based visits.
Oversee the work of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring quality and standards are maintained.
Provide technical support and guidance to the marine construction team and other project stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of marine construction activities and related documentation.

Essential skills and knowledge

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in marine construction within the oil and gas industry.
Strong knowledge of marine construction principles, offshore terminal systems, and industry standards.
Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and SAP.
Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Ability to comprehend, coordinate, and manage multiple projects.
Attention to detail and a strong grasp of analytical concepts.
