Introduction

In the demand planning team of FC Professional&Trading (Cheese, Butter, Milkpowder & Cream) we are looking for an enthusiastic demand planner for our Butter scope who loves to work in an international environment where you can combine your analytical and communications skills be the best supply chain partner for our commercial teams, to forecast our demand and ensure that products are available on time for our customers.

What are you going to do 

  • Develop, manage, and optimize operational and tactical demand plans.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Planning.
  • Translate business drivers (e.g. NPD, promotions, seasonality) into accurate forecasts.
  • Challenge and validate commercial input and assumptions.
  • Lead weekly and monthly Demand Review meetings (S&OP).
  • Align demand and supply through constraint and allocation management.
  • Improve KPIs: forecast accuracy, bias, service level, and waste.
  • Provide clear analyses and reporting to support decision-making.
  • Coordinate with supply points to improve end-to-end supply chain performance.
  • Support and implement the demand roadmap aligned with supply chain strategy.

Essential skills and knowledge 

Being able to tailor your message to different cultures and types of markets is essential. At the same time, it is important to challenge constructively while maintaining strong relationships. With excellent analytical skills and a results-driven mindset, you are able to assess situations effectively and act with purpose. You are also eager to continuously learn and improve, contributing to ongoing growth and success.

  • Bachelor degree with 4+ years or Master degree with 2+ years of relevant working experience (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge and experience with forecasting and/or supply chain/logistics preferably in an FMCG/Food environment.
  • Knowledge and/or interest in statistics, modelling and tools/systems is key.
  • Knowledge of ERP-systems (OMP or SAP APO), Power-BI and Excel (advanced). Excellent Communication and Influencing skills.
  • Full business proficiency in English and Dutch.
