Senior Civil Engineer opportunity with a major global mining company delivering large-scale domestic and international projects. This Monday-Friday, office-based role (with ad hoc site travel) will see you lead civil design across earthworks, drainage and road infrastructure, supporting projects from feasibility through to construction within a high-performing owner's team environment.
Lead civil design across earthworks, drainage and road infrastructure packages
Support feasibility studies, optioneering and infrastructure gap analysis
Develop Basis of Design, technical specifications and scope documentation
Review and challenge consultant designs to optimise cost and schedule
Coordinate civil engineering consultants across study and delivery phases
Manage civil engineering risks across the full project lifecycle
Provide technical support from concept through construction
Contribute to tender evaluation and contractor management processes
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards and company procedures
Engage with internal and external stakeholders across domestic and international projects
Support project teams with ad hoc site visits as required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
8+ years' experience in mining, infrastructure or renewable energy projects
Strong design capability across earthworks, drainage and roads
Full project lifecycle experience (feasibility to construction)
Experience managing and reviewing consultant designs
Knowledge of relevant legislation and engineering standards
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
