Introduction

We are looking for an Electrical Supervisor with proven experience in petrochemical or EPC projects, specifically during the construction phase. The role requires strong hands-on supervision of electrical installation works, ensuring execution in line with approved drawings, specifications, schedule, quality, and HSE requirements.

About this role

  • Supervise and control electrical installation works on site, ensuring compliance with approved IFC drawings, project specifications, schedule, and quality standards.

  • Oversee installation of electrical equipment including MV/LV switchgear, transformers, MCCs, distribution panels, and associated systems.

  • Supervise cable tray and conduit installation, cable pulling, termination, and proper cable management in accordance with project requirements.

  • Ensure all activities comply with approved Method Statements, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), and construction procedures.

  • Coordinate and supervise contractors and subcontractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of works.

  • Monitor testing and pre-commissioning activities, ensuring system readiness for energization and timely closure of punch list items.

  • Enforce strict adherence to HSE policies, Permit to Work (PTW) systems, and safety standards within petrochemical site environments.

  • Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports, and coordinate effectively with Construction Manager, Electrical Lead, and other disciplines.

Is this you?

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical works for petrochemical/ EPC projects

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor (site-based) during construction phase (not operation or maintenance)
  • Strong hands-on supervision in installation of switchgear, transformers, MV/LV panels, MCC, and related electrical equipment
  • Experience supervising cable tray installation, cable pulling, termination, and installation works
  • Familiar with testing, pre-commissioning, and energization readiness (installation perspective)
  • Able to supervise contractors and subcontractors on site
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, method statements, ITP, and punch list management
  • Solid knowledge of HSE, PTW, and site safety requirements in petrochemical environments
