About this role
This is a hands-on maintenance role supporting plant and mobile equipment reliability within a structured Rio maintenance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute planned and breakdown maintenance activities
- Maintain plant and mobile equipment
- Raise notifications and complete work orders in RTBS
- Identify defects and support reliability improvements
- Complete post-maintenance checks and commissioning
Maintain strong safety and compliance standards
Is this you?
Must Have
- Trade Qualified Diesel Fitter / Mechanical Fitter
- Strong experience in heavy industry (mining, smelting, manufacturing)
- Experience working within structured maintenance systems (RTBS or similar)
- Able to work independently and follow process-driven maintenance
Tickets / Requirements
- Driver's Licence
- Forklift Licence
- White Card
- High Risk (preferred)
- Auto Air-Con (desirable)
Site Requirements
- Yellow medical required
- D&A check
- Recent police clearance
