What are you going to do

We are seeking an Instrument and Electrical Technician III to support maintenance and reliability activities within upstream oil and gas operations. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving electrical, instrumentation, and control systems used in production and processing facilities.

The successful candidate will help ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facility equipment while supporting operational excellence and compliance with applicable standards and procedures.

* Install, maintain, inspect, test, and repair electrical and instrumentation equipment used in production operations

* Troubleshoot electrical, control, and instrumentation systems to identify root causes and restore equipment performance

* Support execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities

* Review and support electrical and controls work practices, standards, and specifications

* Coordinate activities with operations, maintenance, engineering, and project teams

* Support maintenance planning and work prioritization to maximize equipment reliability and operational performance

* Follow and support permit to work procedures and safe execution of field activities

* Participate in inspections, commissioning, and startup support for new installations and modifications

* Contribute to Management of Change (MOC) activities and support implementation of approved changes

* Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, inspection records, and work reports

* Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to maintenance teams when required

* Participate in technical discussions, training activities, and continuous improvement initiatives

Essential skills and knowledge 

* Associate degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Industrial Maintenance, Electronics, or related technical discipline* Technical certifications related to electrical or instrumentation maintenance
* Experience maintaining electrical systems and instrumentation equipment in:* Oil and gas facilities
* Processing plants* Production facilities
* Industrial operations

Preferred Experience

* Instrument calibration and testing* Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
* Industrial controls and automation systems* Preventive and predictive maintenance programs
* Commissioning and startup support* Maintenance management and work execution processes
* Knowledge of industry safety and operational standards

* Electrical systems maintenance* Instrumentation and controls (I&C)
* Troubleshooting and diagnostics* Industrial equipment reliability
* Computer and maintenance system proficiency* Technical documentation and reporting
