Introduction
We are actively building a talent pool of experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanics and Drill Fitters for ongoing FIFO opportunities across major Pilbara and Goldfields mining operations. Roles span across mobile maintenance, drill maintenance, and heavy mining equipment fleets.
What are you going to do
What you'll be working on:
- Maintenance and breakdown support on heavy mobile mining equipment
- Drill rig servicing and repairs (Epiroc / CAT / Komatsu fleets)
- Diagnostics, fault finding, and component changeouts
- Workshop and field-based maintenance (pit support included)
- Supporting high-performance maintenance teams in production environments
- Maintaining strict safety and compliance standards
Essential skills and knowledge
What we're looking for:
- Australian-recognised Heavy Diesel Mechanic / HD Fitter trade
- Proven mining industry experience (essential)
- Experience on drills and/or heavy haulage equipment (highly regarded)
- Strong diagnostics and mechanical fault-finding capability
- HR licence preferred + High Risk Work tickets (Forklift / EWP)
- Working at Heights (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong safety mindset
- Full Australian working rights
