Introduction

A strategic and detail-oriented Interface Manager to lead and manage cross-disciplinary engineering interfaces and stakeholder engagement throughout this critical project phase.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical background, exceptional coordination skills, and a proven ability to work across multi-functional teams in a high-stakes engineering environment.

What are you going to do

  • Lead and manage all technical interfaces across internal engineering disciplines (e.g. civil, structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, process) and external stakeholders (vendors, contractors, licensors) during the FEED phase.
  • Ensure that all interface points are clearly identified, scope boundaries are well defined, and all responsible parties fully understand their roles - eliminating any gaps or overlaps that could risk project delivery.
  • Work proactively to identify and document technical data needs between stakeholders early, ensuring timely data exchange, alignment, and traceability across all project areas.
  • Coordinate regular interface meetings, tracking progress through structured Interface Registers, Action Tracking Logs, and documentation systems to ensure effective issue resolution and decision-making.
  • Act as a key integrator between engineering, project controls, construction, procurement, and client teams, ensuring that each discipline receives the right input at the right time.
  • Develop and communicate clear timelines, expectations, and responsibilities to all contributing parties to minimize delays, rework, or engineering changes during FEED execution.
  • Maintain high standards of technical communication, version control, and documentation, ensuring consistent updates to project stakeholders and leadership.

Essential skills and knowledge

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in the oil & gas or LNG sector, including 5 years in interface management or project engineering
  • Solid background in multi-discipline coordination during FEED and EPC phases
  • Proven ability to work with engineering contractors, clients, and third parties on large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence and lead without direct authority
  • Familiar with interface tools, registers, and systems used in complex project environments
