Introduction

A leading global renewable energy company is seeking an HSE Officer / Advisor to join their team on utility-scale solar projects in North-West NSW. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting on-site teams to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

What are you going to do

Key Responsibilities:

Implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures on-site.
Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Ensure compliance with work health and safety regulations.
Deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks to site personnel.
Support site teams with hazard identification and risk mitigation strategies.
Work closely with project managers to promote a positive safety culture.
Maintain HSE documentation and reporting to ensure compliance.

Essential skills and knowledge

Requirements:

Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (OHS) - Essential.
Construction White Card - Essential.
Experience in construction projects (renewable energy preferred but not essential).
First Aid and CPR certification (desired but not essential).
Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and site safety practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with site teams.
