Introduction

Our clientis looking for a committed Boning Room Supervisor to lead day-to-day activities within the Boning department. In this position, you will coordinate operations while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. You'll be instrumental in meeting productions goals, upholding complaince requirements, and guiding the production team in accordance with WHS, DAWR, and QA regulations.

What are you going to do 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day production activities, ensuring efficient task allocation and strict adherence to safety procedures
  • Track production goals, manage costs, and uphold quality and yield requirements in partnership with the QA team
  • Oversee staff performance, including rostering, training, leave management, and administering disciplinary measures when required
  • Prepare and submit daily production reports, and maintain accurate payroll and timekeeping records
  • Manage customer complaint documentation promptly and participate in QA and Supervisor meetings
  • Carry out regular safety inspections, report hazards, and submit maintenance requests as needed
  • Supervise quality control processes, deliver staff training, and implement corrective actions when necessary
  • Support WHS and Injury Management initiatives, with a focus on promoting worker health and safety

  • Be comfortable with AM shifts (from 5am)
  • Honest and reliable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Own reliable transport
  • Experience as a boning room supervisor or Leading Hand (ideal)
