Introduction

Do you want to build smart test solutions that make products safe, reliable, and future-proof? In this role, you design and develop equipment with real impact at product and system level. Beyond software testing, you create strategies, protocols, and the tools themselves. With your LabVIEW expertise, Python skills, and drive for innovation, you shape the future of test automation.

What are you going to do

What will you do?

  • Develop software for Automated Test Equipment (ATE), setups and tools with LabVIEW (must-have) and Python.
  • Design modular and scalable test equipment together with mechatronics engineers.
  • Maintain and improve existing ATE projects, including modernization with AI solutions.
  • Select instruments and define test strategies, protocols, and plans.
  • Act as Test Automation Engineer for internal R&D and manufacturing teams, ensuring quality and reliability across diverse product lines.

You'll join a multidisciplinary team of around 30 engineers, spread across multiple locations. This department focuses on testing a wide range of devices-from large systems to small consumer products. While product experts define testing strategies, your focus will be on designing and building the test equipment that makes these strategies possible.

Essential skills and knowledge

You are structured, hands-on, and motivated to improve quality and reliability. You collaborate easily in international teams and enjoy tackling complex challenges. In addition, you have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Robotics & Automation.
  • At least 4 years of professional software development experience, ideally in test automation.
  • Strong LabVIEW expertise (CLD or CLA certification is a big plus).
  • Solid experience with Python programming.
  • Knowledge of test & measurement hardware (oscilloscopes, multimeters, sensors, power supplies).
  • Familiarity with industrial interfaces (Ethernet, TCP/IP, RS232, CAN, Modbus).

What we offer

Expect a dynamic, international work environment where you'll have a direct impact on quality and reliability. You can count on:

  • A monthly gross salary between €5000 and €6200 (excl. 8% holiday allowance), depending on experience.
  • 26 vacation days, with the option to expand.
  • Hybrid working and flexible hours.
  • Extensive training and career development opportunities.
  • A solid pension plan and collective health insurance.
  • Discounts on sports facilities, cultural activities, and vitality programs.
