We are supporting a leading technology-driven organization delivering mission-critical software solutions for the power and utilities sector. This role focuses on the design, development, and integration of grid and energy management systems, supporting utilities in operating secure, reliable, and modern infrastructure.

You'll work across enterprise-scale applications, middleware, and integration layers, contributing directly to platforms used in real-time grid operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement mission-critical grid software supporting EMS, SCADA, ADMS, and OMS platforms

  • Build and maintain Java-based applications and middleware business logic

  • Develop interfaces and web services to integrate multiple utility and enterprise systems

  • Author and maintain WSDLs and XSDs for system integration

  • Integrate with ESB / IBUS technologies to support large-scale system communication

  • Work across Windows and Linux environments

  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support deployment, optimization, and system reliability

  • 7+ years of software development experience using Java, C/C++, and KSH

  • 5+ years of experience developing applications on Windows and/or Linux

  • Strong experience with Java-based middleware and enterprise applications

  • Hands-on experience with Apache technologies, including:

    • Geronimo

    • Tomcat

    • Camel

    • ServiceMix

    • Axis

  • Experience integrating with ESB platforms, such as:

    • Fuse ESB

    • TIBCO

    • WebSphere

  • Solid working knowledge of Oracle and SQL databases

  • Direct experience working on grid-related applications, including:

    • SCADA

    • EMS

    • ADMS

    • OMS
