What are you going to do
- Knowledge and experience in Road Lighting Design System.
- Liaison with engineers and technicians from within the organization and with external consultants and contractors
- Expertise in In House design.
- Review of related consultants' submissions.
- Experience in Professional contribution to modification of Design manual / standard and Specification.
- Proficiency in Lighting Design Software and related electrical design software.
- Thoroughly Knowledge of International /Local standard
- Experience in material review for Pre-qualification /material submittal
- Assume responsibility and represent the design department for all aspects related to street & infrastructure lighting engineering
- Assist in external & internal coordination pertinent to lighting inception & design.
- Review, comment / recommend acceptance or otherwise of related consultants' submissions.
- Liaise with utilities providers and other stakeholders
- Performance of actual design duties as directed.
- Performance of other related duties as per management instructions.
Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
- BSc / BEng or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- 5 years of demonstrable experience in design & construction of highway projects, with comprehensive exposure to power supply, ITS, telecommunications, and related disciplines.
- Working knowledge of written and spoken Arabic would be advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills
