Introduction

  • We are seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Inspector to join our Integrity & Reliability Engineering Department at a leading LNG company.
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance and quality control within the oil and gas industry, with a focus on ensuring the integrity and reliability of engineering processes and systems.
  • This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions that meet project specifications and safety requirements.

What are you going to do 

  • Conduct inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection and test plans, material certificates, and welding procedures.
  • Monitor and report on the quality performance of contractors and suppliers.
  • Identify and report non-conformances, and work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Conduct audits and assessments of quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on quality-related matters.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality documentation.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and environmental policies and promote safe practices through field-based visits.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control within the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, industry standards, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in using inspection and testing tools and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to comprehend, coordinate, and manage multiple projects.
  • Attention to detail and a strong grasp of analytical concepts.
