Introduction

Are you passionate about engineering innovation in the food industry? As a Fill & Pack Technology Specialist, you'll play a key role in developing, optimizing, and implementing high-performing filling and packaging technologies. You'll work closely with internal experts and external suppliers to shape the future of safe, cost-effective, and sustainable packaging solutions.

What are you going to do 

What will you be doing?

  • Design and optimize machinery: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to create, test, and improve filling and packaging equipment.
  • Drive innovation: Lead technology scouting and identify emerging solutions to improve efficiency, product quality, and reduce cost and environmental impact.
  • Manage projects: Take ownership of technology-related projects and substreams from concept through implementation-on time and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance and knowledge transfer: Safeguard regulatory compliance (HACCP, GMP) and support teams through training, documentation, and implementation of new tools and systems.


Essential skills and knowledge 

You're a proactive team player with strong communication skills, a sharp technical mind, and a continuous improvement mindset. You enjoy collaborating across departments and translating complex ideas into practical solutions.
In addition, you have:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the dairy or food packaging sector.
  • Solid knowledge of machine design, packaging technology, and automation systems.
  • Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards.
  • Experience with data analysis, quality control systems, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent command of English (Dutch is a plus).
  • Strong project management and time management skills.
  • Good command of Excel
  • SAP and PowerBI nice to have

  • A gross monthly salary between €4,500 and €5,300, depending on experience (excl. 8% holiday allowance).
