Introduction

On behalf of our client, Woodside Energy - a Global Energy Company, Brunel is presently sourcing a Project Coordinator to support a major Decommissioning Project delivering coordination, governance, reporting and administrative support. This will be a casual contract role based at the Melbourne Docklands.

What are you going to do

Reporting to the Project Leadership Team, you will provide comprehensive project coordination and administrative support across a large-scale decommissioning program. Act as a key point of coordination between Project Teams, contractors, stakeholders and leadership, helping to keep activities on track and supporting successful project outcomes.

  • Coordinate project activities, meetings, workshops and schedules
  • Support audits, reviews and action tracking processes
  • Assist with project governance activities and compliance requirements
  • Coordinate communications across project teams, contractors and stakeholders
  • Process purchase requisitions, purchase orders, invoices and contractor documentation
  • Maintain contract, procurement and project records
  • Support preparation of project reports, dashboards and status updates
  • Monitor project deliverables and progress against project plans
  • Assist with risk, issue and change management processes
  • Prepare correspondence, presentations and briefing materials
  • Maintain project documentation, SharePoint sites and filing systems
  • Manage document review and approval workflows
  • Coordinate travel, logistics and onboarding activities
  • Support mobilisation and resource coordination requirements

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Previous experience in Project Coordination, Project Administration, Executive Assistance or a similar role
  • Advanced MS Office Suite skills - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
  • Strong organisational and time management capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work proactively
  • Experience supporting Engineering, Construction, Energy, Infrastructure, Mining or Industrial projects
