What are you going to do

What you will do:

Develop and implement new products, balancing nutritional value, sustainability, compliance, shelf life, cost, and sensory quality.
Initiate and execute product and application tests at lab, pilot, and factory scales, analyzing results and documenting insights in clear reports.
Present findings to stakeholders and peers, influencing product decisions and improvements.
Maintain and enhance existing products through modifications, contingency planning, specification updates, and value engineering.

Essential skills and knowledge

You are analytical, quality-driven, proactive, and thrive in a team environment. You can engage colleagues and confidently challenge when needed. Additionally, you have:

At least a higher education degree (HBO/WO) in Food Technology, Food Processing, Dairy Technology, Physical Chemistry, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in product development or analytical roles in the food industry, preferably in ambient dairy.
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. Dutch is a plus.
Willingness to travel occasionally to production sites in the Netherlands and Belgium.
Ability to work in a hybrid setting (1-2 days from home).
