What are you going to do

  • Perform piping material engineering for offshore platforms and FPSO projects.
  • Prepare and review piping material specifications, standards, and material classes.
  • Conduct thickness calculations, and prepare valve and specialty item specifications and data sheets.
  • Review piping bulk, valve, and specialty item-related MTO, RFQ, TBE, and PO documentation.
  • Review and approve supplier documents and drawings.
  • Provide technical support on piping materials and engineering across all project phases — concept, Pre-FEED, FEED, detailed design, procurement, fabrication, testing, installation, commissioning, and start-up.
  • Apply sound knowledge of piping codes such as ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, DNV, NORSOK, and NACE.
  • Attend vendor kick-off meetings, pre-inspection meetings, and participate in factory acceptance tests (FAT) for critical valves.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
  • Exposure to UKCS and PED requirements preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Strong background in piping material engineering for offshore/FPSO projects.
  • Able to supervise and guide a team of Material Engineers and provide technical direction on large offshore projects.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with advanced computer skills.
