Join our client's multidisciplinary team in a unique and challenging role as a Onshore Assurance Engineer on a global leading LNG project. Located in Milan, this is a 1-year renewable contract that offers you the opportunity to work alongside some of the top professionals in the energy sector, contributing your expertise to a project shaping the global energy landscape
What are you going to do
- Support the Quality Manager in preparing the weekly quality report and dashboard.
- Monitor quality assurance and control activities for contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Review and ensure approval of quality documentation and plans from contractors and subcontractors.
- Investigate and propose solutions for quality management system discrepancies.
- Attend and contribute to quality management meetings, audits, and inspections.
- Administer and ensure compliance with vendor preservation and quality surveillance plans.
- Follow up on non-conformities and ensure resolution of corrective actions.
Essential skills and knowledge
To excel in this role, you will need the following:
- A degree in Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional qualifications are a plus.
- At least 15 years of relevant experience, including 5-10 years in quality management for large-scale greenfield projects.
- Experience in LNG liquefaction (preferred), GTL, petrochemical, refinery, or similar facilities is advantageous.
