Introduction

We are currently hiring a Project Manager for our heavy civil and mine development client in Evansville, IN. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of mechanical projects from design through construction and commissioning. This is a fulltime permanent opportunity.

What are you going to do

Work closely with clients to execute large mechanical installations at industrial sites nationwide.
Assist with the preparation of bid proposals
Review bid documents and perform quantity take-offs
Work closely with clients to solve project challenges and identify value engineering opportunities
Integrate new technology and product innovations.
Assist with preparation of post-bid work plans, procurement, scheduling, and cost control
Actively participate in project tracking and post-job analysis

Essential skills and knowledge

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management or similar
5 or more years' experience in heavy civil, mining, construction, or equipment OEM.
Previous experience with project management, mechanical design engineering, estimating, and/or project scheduling
Attention to detail with an emphasis on time management and organizational skills
Ability and willingness to occasionally visit sites
