The Senior I and C Maintenance Specialist provides expert level technical leadership for instrumentation, control, and measurement systems supporting LNG operations. This role functions as a site technical authority, leading advanced troubleshooting, supporting maintenance execution, and driving reliability and continuous improvement initiatives.

The specialist works closely with operations, engineering, maintenance teams, and contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable operation of critical assets. The role is hands on and field focused, with strong emphasis on minimizing downtime and improving equipment performance.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead complex troubleshooting and diagnostics of field instrumentation, control systems, and measurement and analyzer equipment * Serve as technical authority for I and C systems, measurement devices, and control architecture
* Coordinate and support maintenance execution activities to improve reliability and reduce unplanned downtime * Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and site safety requirements
* Maintain accurate maintenance records, inspection data, and equipment history * Support spare parts planning, procurement, and inventory management for I and C equipment
* Collaborate with engineering and operations on equipment upgrades, modifications, and process improvements * Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and on the job training to I and C technicians
* Interface with contractors and manage technical aspects of maintenance and repair scopes * Support root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives

Essential skills and knowledge 

* Senior level instrumentation and controls maintenance professional * Extensive experience in LNG, refining, petrochemical, or gas processing facilities
* Strong background in troubleshooting field instrumentation, control systems, and measurement and analyzer equipment * Acts as site technical authority for I and C and measurement systems
* Experience mentoring technicians and supporting maintenance teams * Proven track record improving reliability and reducing downtime
* Hands on experience coordinating maintenance execution * Experience interfacing with contractors and managing technical scope
* Strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational integrity
