Introduction

  • Provide contracts engineering support to the Business Division Manager ensuring daily management of Project contracts.
  • Provide contractual strategy advice to the Project Management team with respect to changing order, variations, and claims.
  • Provide extensive contractual knowledge and understanding of the requirements of Pre-FEED, FEED.
  • Communicating and efficiently translating Company requirements from the Contractor and monitoring the progress and contractual aspects of the work scope.

What are you going to do 

  • Lead project contracting activities in issuing ITT, executing tendering roadmap, and soliciting tender committees and key stakeholders’ alignment and endorsement.
  • Develop bid evaluation plans, procedures, and models for evaluating technical bids and commercial bids.
  • Execute contract administration activities including provision of timely contractual guidance, tracking project milestones and stewarding contractors’ obligations.
  • Coordinate with Contractor to ensure that terms of the contract are fulfilled in compliance with the contract terms and regulations and highlight breach of contracts in a timely manner.
  • Manage the global contractual daily requirements and reporting of claim and variation progress. Assess contract agreements to identify and recommend amendments to existing contracts.
  • Support Project Management team in handling major change orders and claims and negotiations with contractors.
  • Coordinate on legal issues with the Legal department under the direction of the Business Division Manager.
  • Support development of multiple cost/schedules driven contracting scenarios for feeding into effective contracts’ management.
  • Establish procedures of transferring contracts to Operations after demobilizing Project team.
  • Support Project Management System requirements (Gates system review) and handle project contract’s audit activities.

Essential skills and knowledge 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain management, law, or business.
  • 10 years of experience in contracting related to contracts out of which 5 years in leading role.
  • Excellent written and oral English skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite software programs.
  • Ability and sensitivity to work with people from a variety of culture backgrounds.
