Brunel is looking for a seasoned Execution Planner with strong technical depth and hands-on construction experience to support complex Brownfield Gas Plant projects. This position plays a key role in developing, coordinating, and maintaining project schedules to drive efficient, on-time, and on-budget execution.
Primary Duties
Create, update, and manage comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 and other recognized planning tools.
Work closely with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure full schedule integration across all project stages.
Track schedule performance, identify deviations, and recommend corrective measures to maintain timelines.
Support development and evaluation of schedule recovery strategies, including assessing resource and cost impacts.
Develop and manage the Owner's Integrated Schedule (OIS), ensuring consistency and alignment among stakeholders.
Produce resource-loaded schedules to maximize workforce and equipment efficiency.
Perform schedule analyses to improve forecasting accuracy, resource planning, and overall project execution.
Deliver schedule updates, progress reports, and forecast summaries to project leadership and partners.
Provide data-driven insights to support continuous improvement in project delivery, productivity, and schedule adherence.
Ensure all scheduling activities meet project deadlines, internal standards, and established safety and quality expectations.
Required Technical Background
Demonstrated experience building schedules specifically for Brownfield Gas Plant projects.
Strong understanding of:
Earthworks and civil construction
Drilling operations
Pipeline construction and installation
Electrical and instrumentation scopes
Strong grasp of construction sequencing, duration development, and resource planning across multiple disciplines.
Proficiency with planning software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project; solid understanding of CPM scheduling principles
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical field.
At least 10 years of experience in project controls or planning/scheduling within oil & gas or heavy industrial environments.
Strong analytical, time-management, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced settings and manage several tasks simultaneously.
