Brunel is currently searching for a Corporate Estimator for a long-term contract position with our mining client. The position will be based in Phoenix on a hybrid schedule working from home and travel to engineering office as needed.

Essential skills and knowledgeÂ
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience or 14 years of experience if non-degreed.
- Familiarity with heavy civil and heavy industrial construction practices and benchmarks.
- Familiarity with "Blue Book" for reviewing and developing construction equipment rates.
- Familiarity with estimating software such as Hard Dollar, Cleopatra, RS Means, etc.
- Strong skillset in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Working knowledge of Power BI.
- Ability to communicate with all levels; management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner.
- Ability to work independently.
- Preferred understanding of AACE Estimating Requirements and stage gate approach to projects.
- MUST be local to commute to Phoenix office and must be eligible to work for any employer in the U.S. without the need for sponsorship.

- This position a flat daily rate.
- Full-time contractors are eligible for benefits. Benefits include medical, dental and vision that will begin on your first day of employment. 401K matching - 50% match, up to 3%.
- Position includes accrued 3 days of PTO and accrued 5 sick days satisfying Arizona state law. No paid holidays.
- Position will be based on a 5 day work week, average working day is 10 hours.
